Upon arrival at the Beijing airport, we had to go through customs, take a train to get our bags, and then wait an hour for the rest of our group to arrive. Some of the first things that we noticed: Chinese don't respect personal space as much as in the U.S., almost all Chinese women wear heels everywhere, and waiting in an airport is extremely boring.
